Hayley’s top 10 tips for looking and feeling your best for spring!

 

  • Get moving. Aim to exercise at least 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes to a hour.
  • Clean up your diet. Eat a variety of fruit, veggies, low GI carbs, healthy fats and lean protein. Avoid sugary snacks and take away.
  • Control your portions. Be sure to measure out your portions to avoid over eating.
  • Never skip breakfast.
  • Meal prep. Prepare your meals for the week on a Sunday to stay on track.
  • Pack healthy snacks such as nuts, fruit and yoghurt in your lunch bag.
  • Stay hydrated. Drink a minimum of 2 – 3 liters of water a day.
  • Get your sleep. Aim for 7 – 8 hours per night.
  • Get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful weather. Meet a friend for a walk and grab a coffee afterwards instead of sitting down for lunch.
  • Treat yourself to a massage, a new workout top, pedicure or something you enjoy every now and then. You deserve it!
