Benefits of a Traditional Steam Sauna
Are there health benefits to sitting in a sauna after your workout? For sure there are! Let’s run through some of the ways that your body will benefit;
Better Circulation – The heat in a sauna causes your blood vessels to widen and your heart beat faster, both of which will improve the circulation of blood in your body. From improving joint movement and increasing ease of mobility to decreasing recovery time and minimising the risk of mortality and fatal cardiac incidents, there are so many benefits that come with ensuring your blood supply is adequately circulated around your body.
Detox – Saunas are one of the best ways for detoxifying the body. Our environment is loaded with nasty chemicals which we can’t avoid and deep sweating has been proven to be an effective method of riding the body of some of these chemicals.
