Kick off your 2021 fitness journey the right way, join the Atmosphere FEBFIT 4 week challenge.

Be inspired to burn a few extra calories and have some fun along the way. No strict meal plans or crazy workouts to follow this time around. Simply join the challenge via the Atmosphere App or in-club via the kiosk, and get started.

Atmosphere offers everything you need to achieve your fitness goals – supportive staff, a tonne of floor space and world-class facilities. There are 7 different challenges to motivate you – whether you’re into running, rowing, cycling, lifting, attending classes, or just here for the SOCIAL, we have a challenge for you – all with individual prizes to be won. All you have to do is enter and get MOVEing. You’ll have 4 weeks to MOVE, run, cycle, row or lift as much as you can, or attend as many classes as you can, in 4 weeks. There are 7x $500 EFTPOS gift cards up for grabs so that you can buy yourself some new workout kit once you’re done.

What is the febfit 4 week challenge:

A Challenge to inspire healthy humans. To build community, and prove that fitness can be FUN. 

7 DIFFERENT CHALLENGE CATEGORIES

TOTAL MOVES GENERATED: MOVEs are our equivalent to the amount of work you have done (similar to calories burnt), are comparable between people, and are automatically tracked on all of our cardio and pinloaded weight equipment in the club.  Simply open a new workout on the kiosk or cardio and plug your key into the machines as you workout to track all MOVEs during your workout. Don’t forget to close your workout before you leave, and everything will be available for you to see on your app. All MOVEs are cumulative for the duration of the Challenge. The person with the most MOVEs at the end of February, wins the prize.

CUMULATIVE DISTANCE RUN: Fancy the treadmill and a bit of TV at the same time? Every run, walk or jog you record during February will add to your total RUN km for the month. Every 5km accumulated will give you an entry in the draw to win the prize. Winner will be drawn at the end of the Challenge and is NOT the person with the most distance travelled.

CUMULATIVE DISTANCE CYCLED: Prefer to sit and exercise? Every revolution record on our stationary bikes (sorry NOT spin or air dyne bikes) during February will add to your total CYCLE km for the month. Every 12 km accumulated will give you an entry in the draw to win the prize. Winner will be drawn at the end of the Challenge and is NOT the person with the most distance travelled.

CUMULATIVE DISTANCE ROWED: If pushing and pulling is your thing, then you’ll have this challenge covered! Download the SKILLROW app, login using your Atmosphere app login details, select a workout from the WORKOUTS tab, follow the prompts on the app, attach your phone to the rower (up stairs, over looking the pool) and start rowing. Every metre rowed on the virtual lake during February will add to your total ROW km for the month. Every 2 km accumulated will give you an entry in the draw to win the prize. Winner will be drawn at the end of the Challenge and is NOT the person with the most distance travelled.

CLASSES ATTENDED: Prefer to be shown the ropes? Attend as many classes as you can during February to win. Collect your FEBFIT class card from your favourite instructor and get your card stamped after each class. Once you have 8 stamps on your card, drop it in the barrel and grab another one and keep going. The more cards you fill, the more your chances to win. Winner will be drawn at the end of the Challenge and is NOT the person with the most classes attended.

TOTAL CLUB ATTENDANCE: A Challenge for those with a little extra time on their hands. All you have to do is attend the club and do a workout more times than  anyone else to WIN. If there are more than one member on the same number of visits at the end of the month, these members will be placed into a draw and the winner randomly selected.

MOST ACTIVE ON SOCIAL MEDIA: For (digital) Social Butterflies out there…and those who love to post a sweaty selfie. Make sure you use the hashtag #FEBFIT and the handle @atmospherehfc when posting to social media and you will go into the draw to win. The person with the most activity using the relevant tags will win the prize.

Non-members must become a financial member of Atmosphere Health + Fitness for the duration of the Challenge, to take part in the Challenge. To be eligible for prizes you must be a current and financial member of Atmosphere Health + Fitness for the duration of the Challenge and up to and including the date of prize presentation.
